New roles mostly within claims departments

LV= has revealed it is recruiting for over 160 jobs in its general insurance business.

The jobs will be based in its offices in Bournemouth, Croydon, Basildon, Huddersfield, Leeds and Bristol.

The roles are mostly within the claims departments, although other positions in sales, customer services, and technical management are also up for grabs.

John O’Roarke, managing director of LV=’s general insurance business, said: “LV= is going through a period of significant growth so it’s a great time to join us.

"Our general insurance sales and claims areas are expanding and we are looking for people with experience in these fields but also for individuals who are looking to move into insurance from other careers. When many other financial companies are making cut-backs we are growing steadily so this means that in addition to new roles, we are also creating career development and promotion prospects.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
