Broking giant Marsh has appointed former JP Morgan banker Bruce Carnegie-Brown as the chief executive of its UK operations.
Carnegie-Brown had been head of European debt capital markets at JP Morgan since 2000.
He will take-up one of two UK chief executive roles at Marsh. At present the posts are held jointly by Philip Gregory and Mike Hammond.
Hammond is stepping down for personal reasons and will leave his job on 1 July 1. Gregory will relinquish his role as temporary joint chief executive and focus instead on his role as chief operations officer for March's Europe and Middle East region.
