Everything has its price. Except, it would seem, The Broker Network. Backchat hears that earlier this year The Broker Network's venture capital backer, Capricorn Ventures International, knocked back a bid in excess of £9m for the network - a staggering 36 times its operating profit of £250,000 for 2002.
The bid was made by none other than network rival Folgate. After turning down such a large pot of money, Backchat wonders what the future plans for The Broker Network are.
