’We can continue delivering great outcomes for our customers,’ says managing director

Aviva subsidiary Solus is set to open three new vehicle damage repair centres across the UK.

The vehicle repair company said it was due to open centres in Sheffield, Sunderland and Exeter.

The firm is also set to move its existing Luton site into a new centre in Dunstable.

The repair centres will open throughout this year and create around 90 jobs, ranging from vehicle technicians and consultants to customer care roles.

Strategy

This forms part of Aviva’s strategy to support its motor insurance customers by increasing the number of motor claims managed from start to finish.

Solus manages over a third of Aviva’s overall motor damage claims.

Simon Smith, managing director at Solus, said: “Earlier in the year, we outlined our growth plans to expand the number of Solus sites, complemented by our network of approved repairers across the UK.

”Together we can continue delivering great outcomes for our customers, helping them to get back behind the wheel as quickly and as safely as possible.”
