’He brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic insight that will be instrumental as we continue to grow,’ says chief executive
Lloyd’s third-party managing agent Asta has appointed Stuart Logue as its new chief financial officer.
Logue joins from Flood Re, where he had been serving as interim chief executive following the departure of Andy Bord.
Logue has also held other senior positions during his career, including chief financial officer at emergency repairs specialist HomeServe and deputy chief financial officer at Ageas UK.
He has also held leadership roles at Canopius Group, Direct Line Group and RBS.
He takes up his new role due to predecessor Richard Barke moving to a senior leadership position at Asta’s owner, Davies.
Lorraine Harfitt, chief executive at Asta, said: “I am delighted to announce Logue’s appointment as the new chief financial officer.
“He brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic insight that will be instrumental as we continue to grow.
“His proven leadership, technical acumen and forward-thinking approach make him an invaluable addition to our executive team at this exciting time for Asta.”

The managing agent also announced that it had recently appointed Sian Fisher and Andrew Neden as independent non-executive directors (iNEDs) on the Asta Managing Agency board.
