’The depth of talent across the organisation is impressive and I look forward to working closely with colleagues,’ says appointee
Lloyd’s Syndicate and MGA Volante Global has appointed Demian Smith as its new chief executive.
Smith began his career in the (re)insurance industry in 1995 and has experience working in broking and underwriting sides of the market.

Prior to Guy Carpenter, Smith was chief executive at StarStone Group.
Smith’s appointment is subject to current contractual obligations and regulatory approval.
“I am thrilled to be joining Volante Global at such a pivotal moment in its journey,” he said.
“The depth of talent across the organisation is impressive and I look forward to working closely with colleagues around the world to help unlock even more value.”
