‘Together, we’ve developed a forward-thinking solution that reflects the evolving needs of the haulage industry,’ says head

Specialist MGA Rrelentless has entered the haulage insurance market for the first time with the launch of a new fleet product.

The proposition – backed by capacity from Zurich – is targeted at haulage firms operating fleets of between 10 and 75 vehicles and will include “large third party indemnity limits, legal costs and expenses cover, free 24-hour accident recovery service and policyholder incentives for prompt claims reporting”.

Rrelentless added that it was seeking to differentiate its offering by addressing root causes of losses with the addition of specialist legal support – provided by legal partner Backhouse Jones – risk management tools and technology-enabled risk insights.

The product, it continued, was designed to provide brokers with a more comprehensive offering for a sector facing increased regulatory scrutiny, compliance obligations, rising operational costs and driver shortages.

Greater resilience

Gary Gallen, chief executive at Rrelentless, said: “Transport operators face increasingly complex risks, creating demand for solutions that extend beyond insurance alone.

“By combining Zurich’s five-star-rated capacity with Rrelentless’ specialist underwriting skills and leading sector specialists in Backhouse Jones, we have created a proposition that aligns insurance, legal expertise and risk management around a common goal – helping haulage operators manage risk more effectively and build greater resilience.”

Morgan Lyons, head of mid-market at Zurich, added: “Together, we’ve developed a forward-thinking solution that reflects the evolving needs of the haulage industry, combining specialist cover, risk management expertise and a unique approach to supporting operators in a rapidly changing environment.

“This product is designed to give customers confidence that they have the protection and support they need to keep their businesses moving forward. I am confident that brokers will be driven to engage and find out more about the offering.”
