’We have the right proposition, the experience and the commitment to providing the service the market needs now,’ says team leader
A new wholesale broker that will focus on property and casualty business has been launched.

Called Link2Market, the business will operate as both a Lloyd’s broker and a Lloyd’s coverholder, bringing together broking and underwriting expertise under one roof.
It manages its own property and casualty binders, providing brokers with direct and immediate access to capacity for non-standard risks that do not fit the traditional composite market.
The firm said it is ”focused on providing brokers with an unrivalled level of service and access to both Lloyd’s and London market capacity for non-standard and challenging risks”.

Together, the team led by Lewis Skelt has a combined 45 years’ experience.

Skelt was formerly a key member of Incepta Risk Management, part of Howden.
He said that starting Link2Market ”gives us the opportunity to get back to our roots and focus on what we do best – getting close to our broker partners, providing outstanding levels of service and helping them to place business”.
Skelt added: “There is a real need for timely, direct access to specialist markets that can write non-standard business, alongside a more responsive and service-led approach that puts the broker and their clients first.
“As a 100% wholesale business, the team has full access to the Lloyd’s market and works on behalf of retail broker partners, placing non-standard and challenging risks into markets they may not be able to access directly.”
“We’re really excited about the launch of Link2Market – we have the right proposition, the experience and the commitment to providing the service the market needs now.”
