The protest happened during England’s Six Nations match against Italy

Palestine Action flew a drone carrying a Palestinian flag above Twickenham Stadium during a Six Nations match in its latest Allianz-related protest.

The flag appeared above the Allianz-owned stadium during the 67th minute of England’s match against Italy.

It is the fourth time Palestine Action have targeted the insurer, with the group “demanding Allianz stop insuring Elbit Systems”.

The group claims that Allianz is involved in the provision of employers’ liability insurance to Elbit Systems, which manufactures over 85% of Israel’s drones used by the country’s military to perform targeted military operations.

A Palestine Action spokesperson said: “Our drone came with a simple message – Allianz must drop Elbit.

“Without the insurance provided by Allianz, Elbit could not build Israeli weapons in Britain.”

Other protests

The comes following Palestine Action targeting several of Allianz’s offices in 2025. In February, the group targeted the insurer’s base in Witan Gate House, Milton Keynes, with pictures posted by the group on social media showing windows smashed and red paint splattered across windows, walls and office chairs.

In January, meanwhile, the group attacked nine of Allianz’s offices across England, Scotland and Wales.

The group said that red paint had been thrown over buildings and that windows had been smashed as well.

At the time, Allianz said: “We respect everyone’s right to have and express their opinion.

“However, we have zero tolerance for any criminal behaviour that threatens the safety or security of our people, property and business. Our business operations and service to customers and clients remain unaffected.”
