The portal aims to strip back labour intensive processes for both brokers and their clients

Specialist motor trade insurer Road Runner has launched a new digital platform, seeking to eliminate excess admin for brokers and improve online vehicle management.

The new portal allows registered brokers to access an online vehicle management tool, so that clients can manage their own vehicles. For example, clients will have the ability to add vehicles to their account online in real time, no matter their location.

The platform also provides online quote requests, which are referred to Road Runner’s decision-makers for quicker responses, individual broker login details to access client quote and policy information, as well as the ability to bind quotes online and view a document portal.

Digital first

Jackie Wright, divisional director at Road Runner, said: “We’ve listened to our customers and are thrilled that we can make trading easier for Road Runner brokers.

“Brokers already working with us were keen to register for their new online account in preparation for our launch, indicating their enthusiasm to take advantage of the new platform benefits.

“Our vehicle management portal is market-leading and an enhancement to this sector that’s long overdue.”
