The Fidelis Partnership (TFP) has appointed Peter Welton as its new head of specialty.
In his new role, Welton will help the London-based insurance firm expand its proposition across aviation, space and energy (re)insurance lines.
He will report to John-Paul O’Hare, director of underwriting at TFP.

Experience
Welton joins the business from Axa XL, where he was chief underwriting officer for marine, energy and aerospace in the UK and Lloyd’s markets.

He brings over two decades of experience in the specialty insurance sector, including previous leadership roles such as UK head of downstream energy and power generation at XL Catlin.
