The Association of Insurance and Risk Managers (Airmic) chairman Philip Thomas presented four top risk management students with industry awards at the association's annual dinner.

Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) student Kristina Nordal won the Aon prize for top student in corporate finance and investment studies.

GCU student Leigh McLuskey won the Marsh prize for topping corporate risk management.

GCU student Janet Morrison won the Thomas Miller prize for risk financing.

David Goodwin, now working for Norwich Union, won the Airmic prize for the best risk management result in last year's Chartered Insurance Institute exam.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
