Converium has appointed Tony Neghaiwi as chief actuary, and Theodor Bachmann as head of group risk pooling.
Neghaiwi will join the actuarial and risk management services department as member of the company's executive staff.
As a member of senior management at XL in Zurich, Neghaiwi established the actuarial pricing practice at XL Insurance Global Risk which writes Property and Casualty insurance to large corporate clients all over the world.
In his role as chief actuary of XL Insurance Global Risk, he was in charge of the reserving, pricing, and risk and capital management actuarial functions.
Bachmann will join Converium as head of group risk pooling in the actuarial and risk management services department and member of the company's executive staff.
Bachmann is currently risk leader P&C Europe for the GE Frankona Group in Munich.
