Romain Durand has been named chief executive of SCOR Vie, the life reinsurance arm of the French reinsurer.

Previously, Durand was managing director of the operation, and has been with the company for seven years.

Christian Mounis, previously deputy general manager of SCOR's life business, has been named deputy chief executive of SCOR Vie.

Florence Aurelly has been made chief financial officer, while René Lemaire has been appointed as business underwriting director for SCOR Vie.

Pierre-Yves Le Corre is actuarial director, and Alain Chevreau, who remains director for France and French-speaking countries, has been appointed as deputy underwriting director for SCOR Vie.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
