Ecclesiastical Insurance has promoted Andrew Jones to the role of group reinsurance manager. Jones was previously reinsurance and risk control manager.
In his new role, Jones will have responsibility for coordinating UK, Canadian, and Australian reinsurances.
He will also have senior authority over placing general business reinsurances, control of reinsurer relationships, security and risk mitigation, said the group.
Jones joined Ecclesiastical Insurance, a leading insurer for Anglican Church property, in 1985 and transferred to reinsurance in 1988.
