Endurance Speciality Holdings announced the appointment of a new head of reinsurance operations for its Bermuda-based subsidiary Endurance Speciality Insurance.
It said Daniel Izard would continue to serve as executive vice president of the company's aerospace division.
Former head of reinsurance operations Lou Adanio is to move to the role of chief underwriting officer of Endurance Speciality Insurance.
Izard will be working with the property treaty and casualty treaty departments to continue to build on the company's reinsurance portfolio.
He joined the group in 2002 after 15 years as chief executive and president of specialist aviation underwriters, Associated Aviation Underwriters.
