Newworld Commerce, which provides software products and services for internet sales and marketing campaigns, has launched in the UK.

Its flagship product, Newworld Direct, enables companies to create, manage and assess tailored marketing campaigns using interactive websites and email.

Newworld Direct is available at newworlddirect.com and users pay a monthly subscription based on the number of customers they want to reach. Charges are from 5p to 70p per customer a month.

The company said the system could put campaigns together for non-technical marketers in a matter of hours. There are six aspects to using the software. It is targeted to a particular audience and allows consumer interaction and quick turn-around of campaign data.

Emails are only sent to people who have agreed to receive information and thus avoiding the spam approach.

Campaigns can be run in up to 12 languages and the software has built-in reporting and tracking capabilities.

And as it can be used on existing internet connections it is straightforward to use.

Newworld Commerce's head, Donal Daly, said: "Most organisations have a lot of information that they can use to provide value to customers."

Newworld Commerce was founded in 1999 in Dublin and has a US base in Seattle. Its first UK office recently opened in Heathrow.

In the first half of this year the company signed up 30 clients in Europe and the US, including Baltimore Technologies, Worldcom and Heineken.
