Direct Insurance Group has rolled out a comprehensive employee package for staff, which has been specially adapted to deal with the fall out from coronavirus.

Female staff receive full six month maternity pay, and men three months paternity.

The new package has been adapted to the recent pandemic by offering 121 video personal trainer sessions, exercise Q&A webinars and bespoke nutrition plans. A group quiz night has also been arranged via video conferencing, to boost staff morale.

The London headquartered global speciality business has rolled out the benefits package to all 140 members of staff within the group.

Chief executive David Bearman said: “As a growing business, we recognise the importance of investing in the physical and emotional health of our teams, particularly in the current climate with all staff working remotely.

”Attracting and retaining the best talent is critical to help us achieve our growth aspirations and this new program is a fundamental part of our group strategy.”
