The news that Clear Group has rebranded two more MGAs under its Shape brand umbrella also hit the headlines.

The move sees Accelerate Underwriting become Shape Digital, while Thomond Underwriting has been named Shape Underwriting Ireland.

Next, readers followed the news that Covéa Insurance has promoted Stephen Long to the role of chief operating officer (COO). Long is currently in his 25th year with Covéa, having joined the business in 2001 as a graduate trainee.
