Last week’s Insurance Networks Fair – organised and hosted by Empower Development – attracted a full house to the City of London Club, bringing together industry veterans and newcomers alike to promote the networks and clubs that form the backbone of the insurance community
More than 400 insurance professionals turned out for last week’s Insurance Networks Fair, organised and hosted by training consultancy Empower Development.

The event – held 26 February 2026 at the historic City of London Club – was aimed at bringing together the full spectrum of industry professionals and promoting the networks, clubs, groups and guilds that form the backbone of the insurance community.
As media partners for the event, team members from across Insurance Times attended to learn about the community networks and promote its shared learning and development initiative.
Insurance Times has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing talent in the industry by partnering with Empower Development to offer free trials of its digital publication to new graduates of Empower Development courses.

Louise Pergande, training and early careers consultant at Empower Development, said: “Empower Development recently brought together over 30 networks and clubs for an Insurance Networks Fair at the City of London Club.

“The fair was buzzing with energy, with attendees building relationships, expanding their networks and creating plenty of follow-up opportunities.
“Our goal with this event was to give insurance professionals a space to build relationships, grow their networks and provide clubs with the opportunity to showcase their offerings alongside other networks in the market.
“If you missed out, don’t worry, the Empower Development team is already planning the next event, so watch this space.”
