Phillip Sanchez has left Jardine Lloyd Thompson to join the modelling, analysis and design division of Marsh's risk consulting practice as senior consultant.

Man Cheung, the division's managing consultant, commented: “Phillip is a powerful addition to our expanding team. He combines his strong technical modelling skills, which clients increasingly demand, with a substantial background in insurance.”

In his new role, Sanchez will be responsible for collating information to understand and model risks facing clients. This includes forecasting losses, premium allocations and helping clients find the optimal risk transfer design in their risk strategies.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
