A major conference will be held this month to discuss the strategic management of catastrophe injury claims.

Beachcroft Wansbroughs will host the conference on 18-19 September in Central London. International experts from the medical profession, insurance industry and the legal profession will meet to examine recent developments in the field.

Conference organisers hope the discussions will yield the views of senior industry representatives.

Regional senior partner Sara may said: "We've seen considerable changes in recent years - improvements in medical knowledge, developments in rehab and a transformation in the cultural approach of lawyers and insurers dealing with these complex claims.

He added: "The conference will act as a think tank to assess the impact of these changes and provide a forum to debate openly the most constructive way forward for handling these claims."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
