Aon has formed a capital consulting division of its Aon Capital Markets subsidiary, to be headed by a former Heath Lambert Capital Markets team. Aon Capital Advisory will be based in London.
The team, comprising Alastair Rodger, Lance Gibbins, Kevin Timmons, Tom Booth and Michelle Richmond, will offer a range of advisory services specifically tailored for underwriting and insurance related operations, said Aon.
It said the new Capital Markets division would offer services for raising capital and funding from a variety of sources.
It will also provide advice on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, feasibility studies, financial modelling, business planning, strategic business consulting and assistance with rating agencies and regulatory applications, said Aon.
Aon Limited Reinsurance chief operating officer Alan Griffin, said: “The addition of Aon Capital Advisory is a valuable extension to the wide range of consulting services currently offered to our insurance and reinsurance clients.
“The new team will bring a unique perspective for existing and prospective clients looking to make more efficient use of their capital.
