Loss adjuster Crawford & Company has launched a major incident service.

The service comprises dedicated personnel to manage large and complex claims. Crawford has developed the service by building upon market knowledge obtained from client research. The service aims to control claims spending while helping customers business recovery services. It was created for insurers and self-funded corporate entities.

The service routes claims over £100,000 to Crawford's central 24-hour incident response unit where specialists gather details, determine cover, assemble a team, co-ordinate reports, and liaise with clients and policyholders.

This allows the controlling adjuster to concentrate on claims issues from the start. In addition, Crawford's nationwide IT system ensures that a complete record of the claim is accessible from any of our locations in the UK, allowing data to be easily analysed in the future.
