NIG
NIG has appointed Chris Reynolds, Brendan Dawson and Stephen Ekins to its special risks business division. Reynolds is being promoted from within NIG to the new role of special risks manager, warranty and assistance. Dawson has been appointed as manager, creditor and legal expenses. Ekins joins as senior underwriter special risks.

Dean Fletcher joins NIG's commercial product development team as business solutions manager. He has 20 years' commercial underwriting experience and joins from Benfield Greig.

CNA
Cheryl Sheridan and Ian Belcher have joined CNA global resource managers' (GRM) audit and consultancy operations. Based in London, they will service GRM's clients on a worldwide basis.

Sheridan has been appointed director of marketing and product development, while Belcher will be vice president, audits and inspections -technical.

Sheridan joins CNA from Omni-Whittington where she was director of inspections and legal services. She has also held senior positions in the services sector of several major US and European reinsurance organisations.

Belcher has held senior roles in the audit and consultancy field for 14 years. He has worked for US-, UK- and Europe-based firms and most recently for Cranmore Adjusters in London. Prior to that he was chief internal auditor of ESG Re.

DAS Legal Expenses
DAS has realigned its senior management structure. David Kearns has been promoted to assistant general manager and solicitor alongside Tony Buss (AGM Insurance) and finance director Pat Veysey.

Also promoted to the senior management team of ten are three newcomers: Adrienne O'Sullivan, business manager for Ireland; Bob Moreton, group financial accountant; and Victoria Scott, advice and assistance manager.

Charles Wright, formerly general manager, has left the company to pursue other business opportunities.

Heath Lambert
Heath Lambert Group announces the appointments of Lance Gibbins and Kevin Timmons as directors to its capital markets team.

Gibbins joins Heath Lambert from Abacus Syndicates, where he was managing director. Prior to that he spent four years as group financial controller of Limit.

Timmons joins Heath Lambert Capital Markets from SVB Syndicates, where he was financial controller and a member of SVB Holdings's investment committee.

Willis
Willis Group Holdings has appointed former US senator Bill Bradley to its board of directors. Bradley is currently a managing director of Allen & Company and chief outside adviser to McKinsey & Co's non-profit practice. He served in the Senate from 1978 to 1997, representing New Jersey.

Richard Wallis
Richard Wallis & Co has promoted Mark Farren to sales and marketing manager. He has been with the company for more than ten years and will now manage and co-ordinate the commercial sales division.

Jane Hands has been appointed as commercial account executive. She has seven years' commercial insurance experience and joins the commercial division of Richard Wallis.

Peter Hill Insurance Group
Peter Hill Insurance Group, the Milton Keynes broker, has appointed Glenn Bowles as a commercial new business development manager.

Bowles joins from NIG where he worked as a field development underwriter and brings with him over 17 years' industry experience. His responsibilities will be the further development of the group's new business strategy and implementation of its growth plans.

Legal
James Chapman
James Chapman announces two promotions: Tim Large becomes assistant solicitor in the professional indemnity department, while Gill Rothwell is promoted to senior assistant solicitor in the personal injury department.

Keycare
Paula Corson, formerly affinity development manager for ACE Europe, has joined key recovery and replacement specialist Keycare as business development manager.

Her main responsibility will be to develop Keycare's profile in the insurer and intermediary market.

Corporate Risk Systems
Corporate Risk Systems has appointed Trudy Clements as product manager for its CRS Risk health and safety risk assessment software, based in its Burton-upon-Trent office. She has previously worked as an environmental health officer for East Staffs Borough Council, and as health and safety manager for North West Leicester District Council.

Barker Robb
Fred Whaley has been appointed associate partner, based in Cheshire, with responsibility for the Barker Robb Group's executive search operations in the North of England. He joins after many years of working in human resources with a number of blue chip companies.

Moody's
Christopher Roach has joined Moody's Investors Service's life & health insurance team in New York as an associate analyst.

He was most recently employed by Townsend & Schupp Co., Hartford, CT, where he had been responsible for the credit analysis and research of insurance companies since 1999.

ISS Ark & General
Disaster Recovery and BCM specialist ISS Ark & General has appointed Joe Cook as general manager for Scotland. A chartered loss adjuster by profession, he has six years' experience of the disaster recovery sector and has been involved in the insurance industry for the past 20 years.
