Building repair network inks software deal

Disaster recovery and building repair service provider Prism Network has signed a three-year deal to use claims processing software from the Innovation Group.

The Symbility system will give Prism a single view of each claim and make it easier to share information and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and policyholders, said Prism managing director Mark Orton.

Prism has taken a full licence for Symbility’s claims connect and mobile claims products.

Aaron Cole, global programme director for Innovation Symbility, said:“This is an important milestone for us as we continue to extend our technology into the insurance supply chain.

“After years of underinvestment in claims processing, insurers and suppliers are increasingly turning to technology to control claims cost and improve the customer journey. A number of insurers, including RSA, Aviva, Direct Line Group and Lloyds Banking Group, have already chosen Innovation Symbility as their platform for claims estimating and supply chain collaboration.”

Orton added: “We’re delighted to make Symbility a key part of our proposition. Essentially our clients want quicker, more cost effective and better quality disaster recovery, restoration management and building repairs.”
