Two technology specialists said they have jointly created a single solution for automating the front and back end administration of any kind of insurance product.
Multi-channel document technology provider, Thunderhead, and information technology and business process services company CGI, said that by combining CGI's global insurance administration system GIOS with the Thunderhead platform, they had created a complete administration solution.
Insurance providers can capture customer data, generate quotes and then use this information to create and deliver personalised documents to customers and partners using any channel including print, Web, email, fax, and even interactive TV, said the two companies.
CGI and Thunderhead said the solution would enable insurers to reduce processing time and the cost of completing every transaction, while also dealing with compliance issues, the introduction of new products and increasing volumes.
