Insurance Times looks back over a dramatic season for the industry’s Fantasy Football League
The 2025/26 Premier League season has come to an end – and that means it is time to take a look at the final standings in the Insurance Times Fantasy Football League.

Hundreds of insurance professionals took park, all competing over the past year to be crowned champion of the league in 2026.
It was a close battle all season, with the top 10 separated by just 56 points at the end.
And it was Steve Fisher who triumphed, securing 2,434 points over the year. Fisher spent almost the entire season at the top, doing a great job selecting the best performing players and beating the competition.
A big congratulations to Fisher, who also contributed to some of Insurance Times’ regular Friday articles about tips and tricks for an upcoming gameweek.
Mike Seals-Law, who was also willing to provide some advice, came a close second, securing 2,412 points across the season. You can see the full top 10 by clicking the image above.
Meanwhile, no one from the Insurance Times team was able to make the top 10. It was particularly disappointing for me, given I finished 11th last year and was keen on getting into the top 10 this year. I finished 227th – and it was particularly annoying to finish behind editor Yiannis Kotoulas, who scored just 16 points more than me.
I’ll be back next year (I hope anyway). But a massive thank you to all who took part in the league this year, it was a very exciting and competitive season and we look forward to returning for 2026/27.
