‘Having been part of the business for so many years, I know how important it is that our clients feel confident and supported when it comes to insurance,’ says new appointee

H&H Group has promoted Kally Shane to the role of head of H&H Insurance Brokers.

Shane – who has spent 16 years at the firm after joining as a trainee account handler – has previously held a variety of senior positions including operations managers, head of operations and latterly director.

The Carlisle-based firm predominantly serves rural and business clients across the north of England and south of Scotland through six regional offices.

The firm said that in her new position, Shane will “take overall responsibility and accountability for the insurance business, lead the teams, managing day-to-day operations and planning long-term strategy”.

Natural next step

Richard Rankin, chief executive at H&H Group, said: “Shane’s talent, dedication and commitment over the past 16 years have been exceptional and this promotion is thoroughly deserved and the next natural step in her career.

“She has played a key role in the development of H&H Insurance Brokers and it’s an absolute pleasure to recognise and reward this – her progression perfectly demonstrates our ongoing commitment to investing in our people and strengthening leadership across the group as we plan for the future.”

The new appointee added: “I’m incredibly proud to be leading the insurance team. Having been part of the business for so many years, I know how important it is that our clients feel confident and supported when it comes to insurance.

“Our role is to provide trusted, expert advice and an exceptional standard of service, giving clients real peace of mind. I’m looking forward to working alongside the team as we continue to develop the business, grow together and share in its future success.”
