Helios Underwriting has appointed Louis Tucker as its new chief executive.
Subject to regulatory approval, it is anticipated that Tucker will assume the role and join the board in October.
He brings over two decades of experience across the Lloyd’s Market, including a number of management level roles.
Tucker said: “I am delighted to be joining Helios at such a pivotal and exciting time for both the company and the wider insurance market.

Experience
He joins Helios from Arch Capital Group, where he was most recently managing director of Arch Managing Agency.

Before this, he helped setup Barbican Insurance Group in 2007 before selling to Arch Capital Group in 2019.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
