Oneglobal announces new executive director

Broker Oneglobal has appointed Duncan Urquhart as its latest executive director, effective immediately.

Urquhart, who has more than 30 years of industry experience, will join the firm’s group executive committee and report to Oneglobal’s chief executive Mike Reynolds.

Prior to this appointment, Urquhart worked as head of property, casualty, energy and construction at independent international insurance and reinsurance broker RFIB Group. He has also worked as head of the construction industry and broking in Asia for Willis Towers Watson.

He has expertise in business strategy, leadership and team building.

Speaking about Oneglobal’s new hire, Reynolds said: “Duncan Urquhart is an impressive senior broker who has excellent knowledge and experience across the insurance industry.

“He has a standout track record for business development and managing and enhancing key relationships with clients. His appointment will further enhance our client offering and I look forward to working with him.”
