’We want our clients to be as informed about risk and the insurance marketplace as possible,’ says head

Willis has expanded its long-standing partnership with insurtech Zywave by integrating Benchmark API into its Risk IQ suite of analytics.

Benchmark API enables Willis to integrate internal data with external loss data and benchmarking intelligence into its Risk IQ analytics platform.

This offering allows Willis risk advisors to identify emerging trends, such as social inflation, and provide more precise risk and exposure guidance.

Ben Fidlow, head of core analytics at Willis, said: “We want our clients to be as informed about risk and the insurance marketplace as possible.

“By integrating Zywave’s benchmark API into our Risk IQ solution, we are providing a broader view of risk and delivering insights more efficiently to our clients”.

Deepening the partnership

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in delivering deeper insights and enhanced consulting capabilities to Willis clients worldwide.

The Risk IQ solution streamlines insurance due diligence and optimisation and helps clients to identify coverage gaps and assess counterparty risks through tailored risk analytics data.

From this integration, clients can gain a deeper knowledge of their industry landscape, including their positioning in comparison with their competitors, and allows for tailored solutions for improvement and strategy.

Jim Blinn, principal account executive at Zywave, said: “We’re thrilled to deepen our partnership with Willis.

“The Benchmark API was designed to transform how brokerages leverage data and Willis is leading the way in applying this technology to deliver measurable value to their clients.”
