The Lloyd's Claims Office (LCO) is streamlining the way the market handles aviation claims.

From this week all aviation claims activities of the LCO will move to Box 121 on Gallery One of One Lime Street, London.

Twelve LCO staff will be in the box to complete end-to-end claims adjusting, advising and settlement, either by appointment or on an ad hoc basis.

LCO staff will also continue their programme of visits to major aviation brokers' offices to deal with claims work.

LCO staff, who currently handle between 2,500 and 3,000 claims each month, will no longer be in the Lloyd's 1958 building, except by appointment on confidential matters.
