Axa UK and Ireland has altered its senior leadership team with the appointments of Amanda Vaughan as chief people officer and Louise Isaacs as chief customer and communications officer.
Both have joined the insurer’s management committee and report directly to Tara Foley, chief executive at Axa UK and Ireland.
“I am thrilled to welcome two new appointments to my senior leadership team and I’m sure their knowledge and experience will bring fresh insights and energy,” Foley said.
Vaughan rejoins Axa after a spell at Westpac Bank in Australia, where she was group general manager for culture capability and talent.
She previously worked for Axa for almost 12 years, including in senior HR positions.
She replaces Suzanne Scott in her new role, who is leaving the business after 10 years.
“In returning to Axa, Vaughan’s understanding of our company culture will be invaluable and her expertise in leadership development and equipping people with skills for the future will be a real asset,” Foley said.
“I’d also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Scott for her contribution over the past decade. Her commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace has truly shaped who we are today.”
Isaacs
Meanwhile, Isaacs joined Axa in July and now oversees customer, communications, brand and sustainability.

She has more than 20 years’ international experience in marketing, communications and customer strategy, with senior roles at Barclays, Cigna and American Express.
“Isaacs’ drive to deliver for customers is central to who we are at Axa UK and Ireland,” Foley said.
”She will be instrumental in shaping how we bring this focus to life through our customer and communications teams and in influencing the organisation more widely to create meaningful impact for our customers.
