Rosie Drummond, business interruption developer at Bspoke Group, speaks about her entry for the Insurance Times Young Achiever Award
1. Why did you put yourselves forward for this category?

I wanted to put myself forward because this category recognises people who are making a meaningful contribution early in their insurance careers.
Joining Bspoke as a young data analyst has given me opportunities to learn, grow and deliver work that genuinely supports our underwriters and the wider business.
I’m proud of the tools and insights I’ve helped develop and submitting felt like a chance to celebrate both my journey so far and the people who’ve supported me along the way.
2. What makes your entry stand out, and why should you win the award?
I think my entry stands out because it shows how much impact someone can have early in their career when they’re given trust, support and room to learn.
The projects I’ve delivered have made a real difference to how we understand performance and make decisions.
I’ve worked hard to build my skills and I hope my journey reflects the value of investing in young talent.
Winning would show what’s possible when people are encouraged to grow.
3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?
Winning would mean a great deal.
Personally, it would be recognition of the work, learning and determination that have shaped my career so far.
For Bspoke, it would highlight the strength of our culture – one that supports development, values curiosity and gives young professionals the chance to contribute meaningfully.
I’d be proud to represent a business that believes in growing its own talent and excited to use this recognition as motivation to keep learning and making an impact.
