Family-owned automotive business John Clark Motor Group has created a new insurance arm after teaming up with Provenance Insurance Brokers, a statement released today (9 October 2023) said.
The new division, called John Clark Motor Insurance Services, will offer solutions tailored for prestige and high-performance vehicles as well as specialist cover for home, contents, life and commercial risks.
Provenance said that the goal of the partnerhsip was to create a ”number one destination for premium insurance solutions”.
Jason Connon, chief executive at Provenance, said: ”This new brokerage is an important step in our motor distribution strategy and a strong platform for wider private client insurance initiatives in 2024 and beyond.”
Growth strategy
Provenance said it had joined forces with John Clark as part of its growth strategy through scale partnerships in the private client market.

It said that the new partnership had the potential for “achieving a multi-million-pound gross written premium” by combining expertise and establishing a nationwide distribution network.
Chris McDonald, director of automotive partnerships at Provenance, said: “This partnership will create a real force by delivering products and services that are tailored to meet individual customer needs.
“By harnessing our collective strengths, we believe we can set new standards of excellence in this sector.”
