’I am incredibly excited to be joining SRG at such an exciting point in its journey,’ says chief executive
Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has appointed Neil Nimmo to the newly created role of UK chief executive.
The broker said it had appointed a UK top boss as it looks to expand its leadership capabilities, with Collin Yap having been named chief executive of Asia Pacific in 2024.
Nimmo will oversee SRG’s retail, wholesale and underwriting pillars in the UK in his new role. He will also join the SRG operating board and group executive committee.
“I am incredibly excited to be joining SRG at such an exciting point in its journey. From the outside, it has been impossible to ignore the energy, clarity of purpose and ambition that SRG brings to the market,” Nimmo said.
“SRG is building something different with genuine expertise, a strong culture and ambitious goals. I look forward to working with the exceptional talent across the group to shape the next chapter of this incredible story.”
Experience
Most recently, Nimmo served as chief executive and chairman at Lockton, where he led the firm’s growth and international expansion over 17 years.
