Backchat hears that an insurer disputed a fire loss claim lodged by a commercial tenant after it emerged that the building it leased was owned by a recently-jailed mobster. It seems that the insurer, none of whose claims staff have obviously seen The Godfather, felt that the tenant should have alerted it to the potential for damage to occur.
