Stuart Danskin will oversee regional underwriting across the firm’s 13 UK operating locations
Property and liability insurer Arch Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group, has promoted senior underwriter Stuart Danskin to director of underwriting for Arch UK Regional.
Effective from 1 November, Danskin is responsible for UK regional underwriting across all business lines, including property, casualty, motor, financial lines, marine and accident and health.
As part of his role, Danskin will manage and build a portfolio of business, identify areas for growth and assist in the development of the business’s strategies; this includes deploying new products regionally.
Danskin joined Arch Insurance in January 2019. Prior to that, he worked at Barbican Insurance Group, where he set up the firm’s UK division.
“These are exciting times for Arch, as it seeks to grow its national footprint within the insurance sector and broaden its client base,” Danskin said.
