Don’t worry if you haven’t been glued to your screen for the international break – Insurance Times always has your back

And there it is – as quickly as the international break arrived, it ends.

Obviously, managers taking part in this year’s league will not have accumulated points over the past week – but the savvy, or sad, will have been paying attention to both players that looked on form for their nations and those that picked up injuries.

Don’t worry if you haven’t been glued to your screen however, as Insurance Times always has your back.

Injury updates

Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush was forced off in the first minutes of Egypt’s match against Burkina Faso, making him a doubt for Sunday’s Manchester Derby alongside England defender John Stones, who withdrew from the England camp.

Diogo Dalot also withdrew from the Portugal squad during the break, joining Manchester United team mate Matheus Cunha as a selection doubt for the weekend.

West Ham’s Niclas Fullkrug and Villa right back Matty Cash are also doubts.

Superstar transfers

One player every manager will be watching with interest is Liverpool’s new superstar forward Alexander Isak.

Liverpool signed the in-demand forward on deadline day after a months-long transfer story that saw Newcastle and the lague champions trade blows in the media.

The striker, priced at £10.4m in Fantasy, had not trained with Newcastle prior to his switch. However, after getting some minutes for Sweden over the international break, he could be set to make his Liverpool debut against Burnely.

However, it is likely that Isak starts the game from the bench, meaning it may be worth waiting another few weeks to see how the Swede settles into the Liverpool forward line.
