’It’s been an incredibly exciting year for Acrisure in the UK as we expand our footprint and bring more of our partners under one unified brand,’ says UK chief executive

US-based Acrisure has announced that two more of its UK specialist brokers, Hine Chartered Insurance Brokers and CRK Commercial Insurance Services, have adopted the Acrisure brand and will operate under its name.

Hine is the first of Acrisure’s acquired brokers in Northern England to adopt the Acrisure brand, offering tailored insurance and risk management for both private and commercial clients.

Meanwhile, based in The Midlands, CRK is a commercial insurance specialist known for its expertise in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

These follow the recent rebrands of Sutton Winson, Affinity Brokers, FinCred and Building and Land Guarantees (BLG). All now operate under the Acrisure identity.

Hine’s Paul Hine said: “From the foundations laid by my father in building Hine as an independent broker, to now joining Acrisure’s global business, this represents a proud moment in our journey. It marks next stage in our evolution and positions us to accelerate our growth.”

CRK’s Garry Hurd added: “We’ve been part of the Acrisure family since 2022 and this rebrand is the natural next step for our business.

“We’re proud of our heritage and expertise, and being part of a globally recognised company further enhances our proposition to clients.”

Rebrand plans

Acrisure’s UK broking platform consists of nine acquired businesses.

They are being rebranded as Acrisure looks to bring acquired brokers together under a single identity while retaining their sector expertise and local presence.

Mark McIlquham, UK chief executive at Acrisure, said: “It’s been an incredibly exciting year for Acrisure in the UK as we expand our footprint and bring more of our partners under one unified brand.

“This step comes during a pivotal period of growth and reflects our strategy to unite top talent, sector expertise, digital innovation and local insight under one trusted name.

”It also marks Acrisure’s broader transformation from a network of acquired businesses into a cohesive, forward-looking entity with a clear market position. Our long-term vision remains to build a world-class offering accessible to every business and private client in the country – and these rebrands are another important milestone on that journey.”
