’He is one of the foremost emerging leaders in our industry,’ says chief executive
Lloyd’s broker New Dawn Risk has appointed Jack Keilty as its new head of management liability and financial institutions.
Keilty, who will be based in London, brings over a decade of experience in the London international financial lines market to the role.
He will report to the US broking team, working alongside New Dawn Risk’s head of US broking James Bullock-Webster.
“I am incredibly excited to join New Dawn Risk and to contribute to the unique offering that they already provide,” said Keilty.
“Being a truly independent broker in the London market has never been more important and the stability that this offers to our clients and producers is invaluable.
“The highly specialist approach that the company has used to grow is a testament to the solutions that we are able to provide and I’m eager to play a role in New Dawn Risk’s continued success.”
Experience
Keilty joins from Ardonagh-owned Price Forbes, where he served as a director in the professional and financial lines team.

Prior to that, he was part of JLT Specialty in the financial lines group.
New Dawn Risk said “his appointment reinforces [its] commitment to providing specialist solutions to our brokers and clients”.
Max Carter, chief executive at New Dawn Risk, added: “We’re thrilled to have Keilty join New Dawn Risk to head up our management liability and financial institutions team as he continues to build on his already impressive career.
“He is one of the foremost emerging leaders in our industry and I know our producers appreciate that we are broadening our offering at a time when they have less and less choice in the London market.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
