Go Compare has launched its price comparison services via an app on ChatGPT.

The new ChatGPT app allows users to access Go Compare services directly from the chat bot interface and creates a way to search, compare and find deals, without leaving the chat.
To use the app, consumers need to open the ChatGPT app, click on the apps section, search for “GoCompare” and connect to the app.
Lee Griffin, chief executive at Go Compare, said that integrating Go Compare with ChatGPT “is an exciting step into artificial intelligence (AI) and provides a new way for customers to find our service”.
’Exciting first step’
He added: “Since its inception, Go Compare has always aimed to push technology to the limit to make things easier for consumers, but without compromising on the cover that people buy.

“We were the first comparison site to compare the product features of a policy and not just price and it’s that ethos we try to bring to every new technological innovation.
”We know that speed is key. No one wants to spend more time than they have to on shopping for insurance, but this should never come at a price where cover is compromised.
“By launching a ChatGPT app, we are meeting customers where they are – and we will always do this in a way that protects their interests when it comes to finding the right insurance cover.
“It’s an exciting first step and we’re looking forward to seeing how it performs and helping people save money even faster and easier than before.”
