Julie Gibbons Managing Director AbbeyAutoline

Julie Gibbons

As Northern Ireland’s largest insurance broker, we’re in a unique position to offer a variety of personal and commercial lines products through our specialist teams.

We have developed strategic partnerships with a large panel of insurers, assisting with pricing and underwriting intelligence and providing guidance to new insurers in Northern Ireland on areas such as land borders and land travel across Ireland.

This allows the business to secure the best possible deals for customers.

AbbeyAutoline has invested significantly in developing a culture of employer excellence with a customer-focused approach that’s driving new business and enhancing customer retention for sustainable growth.

What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?

AbbeyAutoline’s commitment to excellence, customer care and innovation makes us a standout candidate for Independent Broker of the Year.

With a year to date 6% increase in income, we have delivered a 93% retention rate for private car and 85% for home insurance. Our commercial lines boast a 91% retention figure, with income currently 5% above target, policy count 10% above target and gross written premium currently 13% above target.

These results are a testament to innovative strategy to grow our personal lines and commercial lines product portfolio and utilising our expert specialist teams to deliver a customer-focused approach.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning Independent Broker of the Year would be the perfect conclusion to our 50th year anniversary celebrations and demonstrate our commitment to excellence in the insurance industry.
