David Williams, non-executive director and Consumer Duty champion at Qlaims, discusses the need for the insurance industry to recognise the vital importance of the claims experience to customers

Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

On Thursday 22nd May the prestigious Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington played host to the 2025 Claims Excellence Awards, an event that was brilliantly hosted by Mathew Horne and brought together the crème de la crème of the UKGI claims sector.

Insurance Times Editor, Katie Scott, opened the evening remarking how the Claims Excellence Awards "gives a well-deserved pat on the back to firms and professionals that successfully navigate the complex web of claims processes, to put individuals and businesses back in the position they were in prior to an insured event occurring" and those pats on the back were in the form of the 20 trophies handed out throughout the evening.

Massive congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors and judges for their fantastic support.
