’He is a proven Aon leader with deep experience serving clients across human capital and risk capital,’ says chief executive
Aon has appointed Lambros Lambrou as its new chief strategy officer.
Lambrou will take on responsibility for Aon executive committee initiatives and support the broker’s “independent and connected” NFP strategy.
Aon announced it had completed its acquisition of NFP in April 2024, with the deal expanding the former’s presence in the middle-market segment. Lambrou will work closely with NFP chief executive Doug Hammond and his leadership team.
“I am excited to work more closely with Lambrou and continue to drive the success of our independent and connected strategy,” said Hammond.
“Our first year as an Aon company included many positive outcomes and we are well positioned to deliver many more as we further align our expertise, capabilities and resources to meet the dynamic needs of our clients.”
Experience
Lambrou was most recently of chief executive of human capital at Aon, where he has helped drive growth through integration of the firm’s health, wealth and talent solutions.

Case said: “Lambrou is a proven Aon leader with deep experience serving clients across human capital and risk capital.
“In collaboration with NFP’s leadership team and colleagues, Lambrou will build on the momentum we have created together in the first year of our NFP partnership, as we deliver shared and distinctive content and capability to our clients.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
