’Brokers bring an important perspective, not only in terms of distribution, but also in understanding customer needs, market challenges and where collaboration can make the greatest difference,’ says chief executive
Biba has joined the Pet and Equine Insurance Association’s (PEIA) lineup of honorary members.

Through the partnership with the UK trade body, PEIA aims to strengthen the sharing of insight, intelligence and data across the sector to help improve understanding of emerging issues and support better outcomes for consumers, firms and animals.
Graeme Trudgill, chief executive at Biba, said: “We are pleased to join PEIA as an honorary member and to support its work across the pet and equine insurance ecosystem.
”PEIA is creating an important platform for organisations to come together, share intelligence and explore the challenges and opportunities facing this market. We welcome the chance to contribute to those discussions and to support efforts that help build fair, trusted and sustainable pet and equine insurance.”

Sharon Brown, chief executive at PEIA, said: “Biba joining PEIA as an honorary member is an important development for us and for the wider conversation about the future of pet and equine insurance.
“If we want to support fair, trusted and sustainable insurance, we need the right voices around the table from across the full value chain. Brokers bring an important perspective, not only in terms of distribution, but also in understanding customer needs, market challenges and where collaboration can make the greatest difference.
”PEIA was created to connect the different parts of this market in a practical and constructive way. Partnerships with associations such as Biba help us share insight more effectively, strengthen collective understanding and support more informed discussions around access to care, consumer trust and long-term sustainability.”
