Domart succeeds Xavier Laurent and is set to take up the role on 1 April 2026, subject to regulatory approval, relocating to the UK to work more closely with the insurer’s teams and partners.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience across global insurance and reinsurance markets.

Elsewhere, 1st Central appointed Andy Cooper as chief pricing officer, with a start date in May 2026.

Cooper is tasked with leading a newly created pricing and proposition pillar, overseeing both strategic direction and delivery across the insurer’s portfolio.

He brings more than two decades of industry experience and a background in pricing, underwriting and analytics.

At Aon, Joe Peiser was named chief executive of risk capital.

In the role, Peiser will lead the firm’s risk capital capabilities across its commercial risk and reinsurance offerings, working alongside regional and solution line leaders.

He continues to report to Andy Marcell, chief executive of global solutions, while the firm began searching for a successor to Peiser’s previous leadership position.

Meanwhile, cyber risk analytics specialist Cybercube appointed Chris Methven as chief executive, succeeding Pascal Millaire.

The leadership transition followed a $180m (£131m) financing round. Methven joined Cybercube in 2020 as chief growth officer.

Millaire moves into a senior advisor role, continuing to support the company after leading it since 2018.

Finally, Marsh Risk named James Crask as global supply chain practice leader.

Based in London, Crask assumes responsibility for delivering risk advisory and insurance insight to help organisations strengthen supply chain resilience in the midst of geopolitical uncertainty, tariff changes and evolving regulation.

Crask brings more than 20 years’ experience in risk management and strategic advisory, having held several leadership roles since joining the business in 2018.
