Aventum-owned Consilium has appointed Nick Woodward as its new chief claims officer.
In his new role, Woodward will lead (re)insurance broker’s claims advocacy team and ensure they provide clients with strategic propositions.
He will also work closely with Duncan Childs, head of technical claims and coverage at Consilium.

Experience
With nearly 30 years of experience in legal and claims sectors, Woodward joins Consilium from his position as claims director at Optio.

Before joining Optio in 2021, he held several specialist claims roles, including senior claims manager at SCOR and head of claims for the Eaton Gate MGU.
Prior to this, he spent eight years as head of casualty claims and general counsel at HCC International Insurance Company.
