’Overseas brokers need a UK partner that understands how to align local execution with global intent,’ says deputy chief executive
Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has announced a new team that will work with global clients and brokers to place insurance programmes for UK subsidiaries of overseas corporates.
Sitting within SRG’s international pillar, the team will coordinate placements for a wide range of sectors and risk profiles, aligning local UK compliance and service needs with parent-company programme requirements.
It will also provide specialist access to the London market and leading UK carriers, alignment with parent policy structures, wordings and service expectations, as well as clear governance, compliance and claims support tailored to UK requirements.
‘Further step’
The move comes after SRG opened a new office in London as part of plans to strengthen its presence in the City.

Located in the St Botolph Building, the broker said the office “represents the first major step in establishing a permanent home for SRG in the capital”.
The broker felt that forming its new international team ”represents a further step in SRG’s international strategy, creating clear routes for overseas brokers to deliver consistent outcomes for their UK-based entities”.
Lee Anderson, group deputy chief executive at SRG, said: “Developing this capability is a natural extension of our international strategy.
”Overseas brokers need a UK partner that understands how to align local execution with global intent.
”Our new team brings dedicated expertise and a service model designed around collaboration with clients and broker partners and the needs of their UK subsidiaries.”
